Add a marquee to your board

If you want to add a marquee to your board you can add the code below to your main_template file below the code for the logo at the top of the page.

This is real easy to do too. You don't even have to open, edit or upload any files.

Just go to your ADMIN PANEL > THEMES > from the drop down list in the middle select > TEMPLATES.
On this new window on the list on the left the first one should be site_header > Select this.

Look for:

Quote:<a href="$base_dir/"><img src="$base_dir/themes/YOUR THEME NAME HERE/logo.gif" border="0" alt="%board_home"></a>

Below that insert this code:

Quote:<marquee style="color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold" bgcolor="#000000" scrolldelay="160" scrollamount="4" width="821">YOUR MESSAGE HERE</marquee>

You can change the message, font, the font size, the font and background color, width of the marquee,and the scroll speed all within the code shown above.

If you want more space between the logo and the marquee, simply add <br> for every space you want to add between them before adding the marquee code.
