Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

This list will give you queries you can run in your database (phpMyAdmin) to help you administrate your board easily. These queries are very good when you want to make changes across the site in one action.

BE CAREFUL doing this! If you are unsure of what you are doing, don't!
BACK UP your database and forum to be safe, then run your query.
Many queries cannot be reversed!

MyBB has a THREAD on their site with more queries not covered here.

This query will force all users to receive PM's from everyone.

A note on the force query, if they go back into the User CP they can turn it off again.

Yes, only for those queries that have options you can reverse from the user cp. Many you cannot reverse without another query or at all.

Thanks... this seems to be a running issue with my site after the merge. If only people would actually read the info that is put up to help them. 8-)

Going to run this one this evening when I get home and be done with this issue. If they want to turn if off that is their option and I am cool with that.

Well I had a few things come up I was not expecting...

First it asked what database I wanted to run it on.. so I picked mybb

Then it said that mybb_users did not exist, but it does.

At that point I stopped and figure I should read more on the mybb board about SQL as it is apparently not as simple as running it from the admin area that WowClassic had.

So much to learn... Good thing I am willing.

I didn't run the query for you, I figured you'd want to do it yourself.

I don't know what you were referring to in there where it asked you what table you wanted to run it on and stuff, I think you may have mixed up something. The tutorial should help you tons now you know exactly what to do.
