Just a quick note to all those using WowClassic that I will have that converter for you soon.

Yeah, yeah, I know I've been saying that since May but we're having a bit of a time with the attachments going over smoothly on large databases.

We want this right and bug free, so please sit tight and know we did not forget about you!

Update again!

I had a lot of trouble with the converter. The person who was making it for me backed out after months of excuses and delays.

Good news though! I found someone who is working on this right now and I am in good contact with him. I hope to have this for you all by the end of the month.

We will be able to convert Wowbb AND WowClassic software and with a choice of WHAT you want to bring over instead of that insane converter system wow has for converting boards to Wowbb.

I'll also be offering a conversion service for those who are afraid to do this themselves. Pricing will be listed as soon as this is complete and thoroughly tested.

Dang TK, I didn't realize how well this was being received Awink

I'll try and finish up the next couple of days. But to give you all a progress report... right now theres just one major thing holding it back. I'm having trouble with the attachments. Debugging that tonight so cross your fingers! Once its complete I'll post so everyone knows to expect it to be available soon. Thank TK for having the epiphany to ask me off another site we're on Awink

You should have seen it on the other forum.... people are drooling for this. I'd really like to get it finished before my members get frustrated and go with a different software. I'd hate to lose them to something I won't / don't support.

Besides, Mybb is really good software and well worth the FREE price! They all know I wouldn't suggest garbage to them Abiggrin

Yes, and TK is putting me to work big time, plugins, a Joomla integration setup... Oh well, I love it Abiggrin

Ok. Progress report.

I'm stuck. I'm in the depths of the code on importing threads and I've run into a minor conundrum. I'll discuss it in detail with TK via IM tomorrow, but I just wanted to announce that there could be a delay of as long a week while I delve into obscure parts of the php API. Y&%$^& darned crappy wowBB code anyways. Nothing is done the way it should be. No wonder the software sucks so bad!
